Forex CRM, back office and MT4/MT5 infrastructure for CySEC-regulated brokers
CySEC rules,
applied by the system.
A CySEC licence comes with rules that have to show up in software: client categories, leverage caps, negative balance protection, appropriateness tests and transaction reports. relioops builds them into the CRM, back office and MT4/MT5 setup, so the rules are applied on every account and every change leaves a record. We already work with licensed brokers in Cyprus; their names stay private.
Rules applied by the system
Leverage, protection and onboarding rules follow the client's category automatically and are synced to the MT4/MT5 groups.
An audit trail for every decision
Classification changes, leverage edits, balance corrections and test results are stored with the author, the time and the reason.
Reports built from your own data
MiFIR and EMIR report data is assembled from MT4/MT5 and CRM records, validated, and delivered to the ARM or trade repository you use.
The back office the rules run in.
Client records, MT5 groups, reconciliation and sign-in monitoring: the screens where classification, leverage and KYC decisions are made and recorded.

In Observe mode the engine touches no account; it only works out what it would do. In Pilot mode only the logins in the pilot list are written to MT5. In Apply mode the whole scope is written — review the rule in an Observe run first.
Equity is read as equity minus credit. Leverage steps down as equity crosses each threshold; click a value to edit it.

Client classification under MiFID II
Retail, Professional and Eligible Counterparty, with the documents, approvals and history each category needs. Professional status is handled as per se or elective, and a move from Retail to Professional is a request with evidence and an approver, not a dropdown change.
- Retail, Professional (per se and elective) and Eligible Counterparty
- Category change requests with documents and compliance approval
- Notifications to the client on category changes
- Protection level per category, set by your compliance policy
- Full, auditable history of every classification decision
ESMA leverage limits, applied automatically
Retail accounts get the cap for each instrument class from the day they open, and again whenever their category changes. Settings are pushed to the matching MT4/MT5 groups, and changes above the cap are blocked and logged. Professional status does not mean unlimited leverage: your own risk policy still applies, and settings are checked against real margin behaviour on the platform.
- Leverage by client category and instrument class
- Sync to MT4/MT5 account groups
- Re-applied on new accounts and on category changes
- Changes above the cap blocked and logged
- Leverage changes, approvals and authors recorded
Negative balance protection
Protection works per trading account. When a retail account goes below zero, the balance is detected from MT4/MT5 and brought back to zero by an automatic or an approved correction, recorded with the event and the person who approved it. A retail client who opens with 1,000 USD and is left at -250 USD after a gap is corrected by +250 USD and is not charged the difference. Stop-out reduces the risk; it does not replace protection.
- Negative balance detection per trading account
- Automatic or approved zeroing, by policy
- Separate policy for Professional and ECP accounts
- Works alongside margin call and stop-out settings
- Event, correction and approver kept in the audit log
Appropriateness and suitability tests
Online questionnaires run during onboarding, are scored against your criteria and are linked to account activation. Each product can have its own criteria, and you can add your own questions to the regulatory set. A failed test shows the required warning and goes to review under your acceptance policy, rather than silently closing the door.
- Appropriateness questionnaire in onboarding (MiFID II Art. 25(3))
- Product-level criteria for FX, CFDs, commodities and indices
- Your own questions added to the regulatory set
- Risk warnings and compliance review for failed tests
- Multi-language questionnaires and re-assessment when details change
- Suitability assessment where you give advice or manage portfolios
MiFIR and EMIR transaction reporting
relioops is not an ARM or a trade repository; it is the system that prepares your reports. Trade and account data is taken from MT4/MT5, matched to client identifiers and LEIs in the CRM, validated for missing or wrong fields, and delivered to the ARM or trade repository you choose. Acceptances, rejections and corrections are tracked in the same place.
- MT4/MT5 trade data matched to CRM client records and LEIs
- MiFIR (Art. 26) and EMIR (Art. 9) data fields, EMIR REFIT ISO 20022 XML
- Validation before submission
- Delivery to the ARM or trade repository of your choice
- Acceptance, rejection and correction tracking
- Reconciliation history between trades and reports
KYC, AML and sanctions screening
Use the built-in KYC/AML workflow, or connect your provider: Sumsub, Onfido and iDenfy are already integrated. Document checks, liveness, PEP, sanctions and adverse media screening feed one client record, with risk scoring and enhanced due diligence for high-risk clients. A PEP match goes to review; it does not mean automatic rejection.
- Built-in workflow, or Sumsub, Onfido and iDenfy
- Document, address and liveness checks
- PEP, sanctions and adverse media screening, rescreened on list updates
- Client risk scoring and EDD with source of funds and wealth
- Compliance officer review queue
- KYC status linked to MT4/MT5 account activation
Support, hosting and migration
Engineers are available 24/7/365 in English, Russian, Turkish and Arabic, with response times set in your SLA. MT4/MT5 servers can run on your own infrastructure or on ours, in the location you need, and the data belongs to the broker. Moving from another CRM is free.
- 24/7/365 engineering support
- English, Russian, Turkish and Arabic
- Hosting on your servers or ours; the data stays yours
- Primary and disaster-recovery environments
- Free migration from your current CRM
Rules checked as they happen.
Limits are evaluated continuously against live account data, and every breach and decision is written to the record.

CySEC brokers, answered.
Does relioops CRM support CySEC and MiFID II requirements?
Yes. Client classification, ESMA leverage limits, negative balance protection, appropriateness tests, KYC/AML and MiFIR/EMIR report preparation are part of the CRM and back office, and each is configured to your licence and compliance policies. The final regulatory responsibility stays with the licensed broker.
Can leverage limits follow the client's category automatically?
Yes. Caps are set per client category and instrument class, applied when an account opens and again on every category change, and synced to the MT4/MT5 groups. Changes above the cap are blocked and logged with the author.
How does negative balance protection work in relioops?
Per trading account. When a retail account goes below zero, the CRM detects it from MT4/MT5 and brings it back to zero through an automatic or an approved correction, recorded in the audit log with the event and the approver. Professional and eligible counterparty accounts can follow a different policy.
Does the CRM separate Professional clients into per se and elective?
Yes. Professional status is recorded as per se or elective, and an elective request goes through documents, assessment and compliance approval before it takes effect. Every classification decision stays in the client's history.
Is relioops an ARM or a trade repository?
No. relioops prepares and validates MiFIR and EMIR report data from your MT4/MT5 and CRM records, delivers it to the ARM or trade repository you choose, and tracks acceptances, rejections and corrections.
Which KYC providers can we use?
The built-in KYC/AML workflow, or Sumsub, Onfido and iDenfy, which are already integrated. Other providers can be connected through their API, and the workflow can follow your own onboarding policy.
Do you work with brokers in Cyprus today?
Yes. We serve licensed brokers in Cyprus. Client names are confidential; references can be discussed under NDA.
Which languages does support cover?
English, Russian, Turkish and Arabic, 24/7/365, with response times set in your support package and SLA.
What it connects.

Trading platforms
Accounts, groups, symbols and execution through the platform's own manager interface.
